Q How do you ship videos ordered via videoaddicts.com?
A All orders are shipped via Priority/Registered Mail to the USA and Canada only. No shipments are made south of the US border, or otherwise off-continent.
Q How long will it take me to receive my order after it is placed at videoaddicts.com?
A That's a good question. We at videoaddicts.com have a pat answer, and that is: 6 weeks.
Q If it's 6 weeks, then why did I receive my order in 3 days?
A Another good question. We say, 6 weeks to cover ourselves. Since we represent a wide variety of independent sources, delivery schedules can be somewhat uncertain. We do our best to have everything in our online catalog in stock.
That's much easier said than done when dealing with artistic-type folks and corporate wheels that are trying to get their act together.
If we are getting low on a particular title, we order more. When you place your order, our new inventory may already be in transit to our warehouse. If you have placed an order for multiple titles, we may hold onto your order until the new inventory reaches our warehouse so that we can ship all your items together.
If there is a delay in the shipping process, we may ship you the in stock items, and ship the back-ordered items separately, after they are received by our warehouse. If your additional items are shipped separately (but were ordered along with other items that have already shipped) you will only pay the $1.50 postage for each additional item shipped, just as though it was shipped with your original order.
Q What's the worst case scenario?
A If you're asking that question, your order may have fallen victim to Strangled Video Production Syndrome.
SVPS occurs when an independent video production company gets screwed up for any number of unforseen reasons.
If one of our suppliers is sufferring from SVPS, then we are in the same boat you are in. We have ordered product and it normally would have been received by our warehouse by now, but - for any combination of a million reasons (yep, we've heard 'em all) - we have not received our shipment, yet.
It is very difficult for us to ship product that we have yet to receive from the distributor. If you have waited several weeks and have not heard from us, or received your order, then please send me an email.
Be sure to have your order number (that you received when you placed your online order), the date that you placed the order and the affected video title(s).
We will do our best to inform you of anything that may be holding up delivery on that particular title at that time.
Q Will my credit card be charged?
A When paying via PayPal, your order is not actually placed until your payment is received/confirmed. With Credit Cards or PayPal account, it is instant, whereas online checks can take about 5 days.
Q Can I cancel my order?
A Any slow-to-ship or back-ordered items may be cancelled by emailing me at any time prior to shipment.
