Evil Roy Slade
In this riotous parody of the Old West, co-written and co-produced by acclaimed comedy talent Garry Marshall, rascally scoundrel Evil Roy Slade (John Astin) struggles to become an honest man for the love of a beautiful woman.
Roy's made a name for himself as a most wanted bank robber, but that was before he falls for the wholesome and lovely Betsy Potter (Pamela Austin). She tries teaching him morality, honor and how to bathe without a six-shooter. But for Roy, redemption doesn't come easy. Bing Bell (Dick Shawn), the spangle-drenched, singing ex-marshal, has come out of retirement, a-strummin' and a-gunnin' for Roy. The comic shootout between these two legendary gunslingers is the kind of hilarious showdown that mad the Wild West wild.
Evil Roy Slade is filled with lough-out-loud performances from an unequaled comedy ensemble that includes Milton Berle, Mickey Rooney, Edie Adams, Dom DeLuise, Henry Gibson, Penny Marshall and Ed Begley, Jr.
