Duck! The Carbine High Massacre
On April 20th, 1999 a news story unfolded that riveted International attention.
What happened that day forced America to seriously re-evaluate its systems of education, entertainment, parenting and forever changed the way the nation perceives teenagers and high school life.
Later that year several young New Jersey filmmakers set out to make a movie about the way the media reported and how society reacted to that event.
In the course of their endeavor they were met with anger and hostility laced with strong warnings that this movie should not, could not and MUST NOT be made.
But they made it anyway...
"We realize that some people may consider this movie offensive, obscene, sacrilegious and thouroughly disgusting. However it was bound to become a motion picture eventually, or even worse, a 'made for TV' movie. So we decided to do it first. God Bless America!"
