DAVE'S DISNEY RANTS
Hey ... Somethin's Fishy I've got a growing number of reports about people buying authentic Disney DVDs and are having difficulty playing them in their DVD players becase they are "not equipped with the Disney chip." Anyone else have this problem? (They work fine on my machine.) Soon, you' be able to go directly to the source by visiting Disney's DVD Customer Support site. Click here to read the whole story.

Complaint Department


I have tried my hardest to develop a loving, caring Disney web site. The problem is, that many of the services here are sometimes abused by visitors who desire only to exploit the system in an attempt to make a buck.

Due to lack of funding, I am limited in the amount of control that I have over these abuses. While they offer a level of discomfort for both myself and my valued visitors, I hope that we can all overlook the jerks who are trying to ruin a good thing while offering support to the others who are using the site in the way that it was meant to be used.

This is the problem with developing a successful site. If you are getting a large volume of traffic, everyone wants to exploit and profit from it, even if it means the end of the site.

I do not really have a complaint department. I do get a decent amount of e-mail complaining about these abuses. Please bear with me and hope that they will go away and instead, email me about ways you think that would generate enough cash flow to support the site 24/7. Then we can afford to deal with the jerks and clean things up around here.
